When the director of a laboratory receives warning that the Phantom
Thief Dorapin plans to rob his new lab, he calls to the Doraemons for
aid and the entire clan rushes to help. When they arrive however, they
discover that the thief's challenge is actually a ruse and the real
targets are the Doraemons themselves! After nullifying their gadgets,
Dorapin threatens to steal their friendship, and when the group reveals
their friendship telecards in a display of solidarity he transforms them
into gold statues. Luckily, in the commotion two of the gang, Dorammed
and Dorarinho, accidentally pulled out the wrong card and escaped. Now
the pair must evade the tricky thief and find a way to restore their
friends before they all become part of a much bigger and more dangerous
plan.
